Shuhei Nakamoto arrived in Honda Racing Corporation in 1983, working as Large Project leader on many successful assignments in World Grand Prix and Superbike Racing. He has developed a vast experience in both World Grand Prix and F1, where he worked as Technical Director from 2002 to 2008. In 2009 Shuhei Nakamoto returned to the MotoGP project as HRC Executive Vice President, overseeing all areas of HRC’s participation in MotoGP. Present job status: HRC Executive Vice President, Operating Officer at Motorcycle R&D Centre, Honda R&D Co.,Ltd , General Manager Motor Sports Development (MSD).
2013 was Livio Suppo’s maiden year as Team Principal of the Repsol Honda Team. As requirements for exposure and advertising increase in MotoGP, the role of Team Principal has broadened from a mere head of machine development to a powerful role as the manager of communication and marketing. In 2014 Mr. Suppo will continue his dual-role as Team Principal and HRC Communication and Marketing Director, involved in all aspects related to media and sponsors.Livio Suppo joined HRC in 2010, giving a precious contribution in marketing and riders management. Thanks to his previous experience, where for 10 years he was responsible for, and lead the Ducati MotoGP project, Suppo has brought with him into HRC a new and fresh approach to racing.
Takeo Yokoyama has been in the Honda family since 1996. He left to study in the USA in 2002 and rejoined HRC in 2004 working as a Chassis designer. After three years working as Dani Pedrosa’s track engineer, last year he stepped up to the role of Technical Director and an opportunity to utilise all his valuable experience to date.
